Solo Sikoa recently took over the leadership of The Bloodline by kicking out Jimmy Uso and introducing Tama Tonga to the mix. The former NXT North American Champion then introduced the former NJPW star as his right-hand man. He referred to him as his ‘MFT,’ although neither of them revealed the meaning behind this moniker. However, it seems like CM Punk might have a clue about what is behind the nickname.

Punk was announced as a part of the Backlash kickoff panel alongside Big E and Jackie Redmond. During their conversation, Big E mentioned that the MFT moniker scared him. The Best in the World mentioned that he knew the meaning behind the ambiguous nickname. However, he wasn’t sure if he was allowed to say it on the broadcast.

Big E also talked about Tama Tonga‘s career in New Japan Pro Wrestling. The Voice of the Voiceless was surprised by this. He only remembered the company he worked for ten years ago. Hence, he was surprised that they were allowed to mention NJPW openly on the broadcast. Additionally, Michael Cole on commentary made several references to the Bullet Club and the Japanese wrestling company during the Bloodline’s No DQ match.

I know what it means, but I’m not allowed to say it on the broadcast.

There has been a lot of fan speculation about the meaning of this nickname. However, the WWE Universe is unable to come to a consensus. With this interaction, it seems that there are only a few people backstage who know the meaning behind this mysterious nickname.

CM Punk discusses the electric atmosphere in Chicago during his Survivor Series return

During the Backlash pre-show, the trio talked about the Straight Edge Superstar’s electrifying return to WWE at Survivor Series in his hometown. The former AEW star, while admitting to being selfish, claimed that Chicago was always the loudest place. He recalled it being the same way when he used to watch hockey games as a kid.

When CM Punk returned to WWE at the Allstate Arena, he revealed that the crowd was so loud for him that he couldn’t even hear Living Color, the band responsible for his entrance theme. As such, he mentioned not being able to hear anything apart from the crowd.

It was just white noise. I thought I was having a stroke.
