Leona Lewis is a British singer, songwriter, actress, model, and activist. She won the third season of The X Factor in 2006, covering “A Moment Like This,” which became a hit single for her. Her songs also include “Bleeding Love,” “I See You,” “One More Sleep,” and the collaborations “Collide” and “You Are The Reason.” She co-starred in the film Walking on Sunshine and on the show The Oath; and was a judge on drag queen singing competition show Queen of the Universe. Leona has sold over 35 million records worldwide. She has supported charities, particularly animal rights and welfare.
Her father, Aural Josiah, is Guyanese. Her mother, Maria Lewis, is said to be of Welsh, Italian, and Irish descent.
