Multiple crashes and icy conditions force I-84 closure from Broadway to Eisenman
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Update:
I-84 has reopened following a several car crash and extremely icy conditions which forced the closure earlier Monday. Boise Police report the highway has reopened, but drivers are warned to take it slow and be cautious.

Boise Police report that due to multiple crashes and extremely icy conditions, I-84 from Eisenman to Broadway is being shut down.
Multiple crashes and slide offs have occurred on I-84 from Broadway headed east out of Boise. The Boise Police have decided that road conditions are too dangerous at this time and have made the decision to close that section of the freeway.
Boise Police tell CBS2 that officers are currently working on a crash at Gowen involving multiple vehicles. BPD also reports there have been several slide offs in the area and they are especially concerned about sections of the interstate that are in the shade, keeping roads icy and dangerous.
Traffic is being diverted off the interstate at this time.
