WATCH: Pyotr Kochetkov jazz up crowd at PNC Arena through hilarious broken English interview
Carolina Hurricanes goalie Pyotr Kochetkov surely knows how to enliven the arena after a game. Not only did the Hurricanes win 4-1 against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday, but also managed to re-energize the crowd with an injected dose of happiness during a post-game interview.
The 23-year-old rookie netminder was the star of the show not only because of his hilarious interview with broken English but also due to his extraordinary play. His performance became the key point to winning the game against Devils as he stood with 37 saves.
It was the team’s 6th consecutive victory where the Hurricanes took advantage of four different goal scorers throughout the game, switching up the lineup for the best possible outcome. Nevertheless, Pyotr stole the show, as the game’s No. 1 star.
